Genesis 15:6-8

^6 (A)Then he believed in Yahweh; and He counted it to him as righteousness. ⁷ And He said to him, “I am Yahweh who brought you out of ^(B)Ur of the Chaldeans, to ^(C)give you this land to ^[a]possess it.” ⁸ And he said, “O Lord Yahweh, ^(D)how may I know that I will ^[b]possess it?”
